The Training and
Placement department has been specifically developed to provide
a dedicated resource to all students. Professional education is
not an end in itself it's means to further your career goals.
Acknowledging this, the T&P Cell at the college has been specifically
developed to provide a adequate resources to students. This is
to help them to gain the necessary information resource, skills
and contracts to help them achieve immediate and long term returns
on their investment.
Career Councelling:
Students have access
to professionally qualified members of staff who assist the students
in:
- Identifying
appropriate career possibilities based on strengths interest
and values
- Preparing a
professional Resume.
- Developing a
realistic job search Strategy to meet their career Aspirations.
Finding
a Job:
The T&P department
acts as a facilitator, assisting and supporting students in their
search for employment. This is done by:
• Publishing
students CVs online for Employers to browse at their convenience.
• Promoting a full program of employer events both on and
off campus.
The T&P Dept.
also has a wide variety of printed and electronic information
on career management issues, job search skill and employer information
, which made available to the students.
