Atharva School of Business held its annual seminar at hotel Grand Hyatt, Mumbai. The chief guests for the occasion were Shri. Dattaji Rane, Treasurer, Atharva Educational Trust & Ex. Minister Higher & Tech Education, Govt. of Maharashtra, Shri Gopinathji Munde, Chairman, Atharva Educational Trust & Ex. Dy. Chief Minister, Govt. of Maharashtra, Shri Dilip Valse Patil, Hon’ble Minister Higher & Technical Education, Govt. of Maharashtra. The topic of the seminar was “Leading change and innovation”. The event kicked off by Ms. Asha Mirchandani, Executive Finance Director and country CFO, Novartis who gave us insights on the need for change management in today’s corporate world. Mr. Ganesh, Manager Corporate HR, Crisil gave us a very enlightening perspective on leading change and innovation. Post Lunch Ms. Sagarika Rai, CPO Reliance Media and Entertainment and Ms. Sujaya Banerjee, VP, Learning and development ESSAR Group shared some wonderful insights on sustaining change. The evening was lit up by Mr. Rahul Pinjarkar, Sr. Manager, HR, ICICI Prudential and Mr.Rajiv Bhatia, CEO, Inorbit Malls (I) PVT. Ltd who shared their experiences on the topic. |

HR SEMINAR- NURTURING GENIUSES “LESSONS IN ENTREPRENEURSHIP" (11th August, 2007)

Atharva School of Business organized a seminar jointly with MTHR Global, at Hotel Sea Princess, juhu, Mumbai. The theme for discussion was "Nurturing geniuses’ lessons in Entrepreneurship".
Mr. Suhas Gopinath, President and CEO, Globals Inc ITeS Limited, was the guest of honour. Various topics on effective entrepreneurship were presented by distinguished speakers at the seminar.
Ms. Preeti Sharma, Director Marketing, Pragati Software, expressed her views on the topic "Entrepreneurship sans boundaries". Mr. Ulhas Pagey, Head, Human Capital and Organizational Development, Sharekhan Securities Limited also spoke during the session.
The seminar ended with Mr. Dhiraj Gupta, Director, Jumbo King Vada Pav and Mr. Prithviraj Ghorpade, Director, Strategies Uno, Sharing their views on "Innovation in Entrepreneurship". |

On Saturday, 4th November, 2006, Atharva School of Business Organized their Annual Seminar at Tajlands End, Bandra, Mumbai.
The theme for annual meet was "Developing and Implementing Growth Strategies", which had the presence pf Chef Guest, Mr. M. N. Chaini, President, Corporate Affairs, Reliance Industries limited. The keynote speaker was Mr. Dilip Dandekar, Managing Director, Camlin Limited. On this occasion, Mr. S. A. Narayan, Director, HR, B. P. C. L. viewed his opinion on "Competencies required for a successful leader".
This was followed by a presentation by Mr. Tarun Mehra, Sr. Vice President, Marketing, Zee Network, on today's marketing strategy "Beyond Strategy". Dr. Satyabir Bhattacharya, Director, Strategy and Implementation, Ispat Limited, also enthralled the erudite audience by his speech on "Growth Strategy".
This was followed by another session conducted by Mr Ajay Kosambi, Vice President, HR & OD, Classic Stripes Limited on “Creating High performing Organization”. Mr Boman Irani, Chairman and Managing Director, Keystones Group, thrilled the audience with his views on “Stretch to Achieve Extraordinary Growth “which was highly lauded by the audience.

On Saturday, 12th November, 2005, Atnarva School of Business organized their Annual Seminar at Hotel Ramada Plaza Palm Grove, Juhu, Mumbai.
The day long event was kicked off with the symposium on "Acknowledgment of Employees as true assets".
The distinguished guests who spoke were Mr. Arun Bal Krishnan, the then Director, Human Resources, H. P. C. L. and Mr. Vikas Shirodkar, Vice President, HR and Administration, Johnson and Johnson Limited.
"Integrated Quality Management" was the next topic for discussion, where Mr. R. Kalaignanam, Consultant, Bombay Dyeing and Prof (Dr.) Dinesh Sheth, Head, Faculty in Operation, N .I .T. I. E. expressed their views.
The seminar concluded with discussion on "Mergers & Acquisitions", chaired by Mr. Nirmal jain, Managing Director, India Infoline Limited and Mr. Navroz Mahaduwalla, Vice President, Ernest and Young Limited, who enlightened the audience with their views.
